Couples Therapy for Communication, Conflict & Connection

Do you find yourselves having the same argument over and over again? No matter how hard you try to understand each other, you keep getting pulled into the same emotional cycle and struggle to reconnect afterward. From there, your relationship continues to slowly erode.

Relationships can be deeply meaningful, but they can also be incredibly challenging. When patterns of conflict, disconnection, or emotional distance take hold, it may feel difficult to communicate effectively or feel close again. Couples therapy can help you better understand one another, break unhealthy patterns, and rebuild trust and connection.

I work with couples to improve communication, navigate conflict in healthier ways, and strengthen emotional intimacy. Using an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approach alongside Gottman Method couples therapy techniques, I help partners develop deeper empathy, stronger communication skills, and more secure connection in their relationship.

Couples counseling can help with:

  • Communication difficulties

  • Recurring conflict or feeling stuck in the same arguments

  • Conflict avoidance or emotional withdrawal

  • Rebuilding trust after hurt or betrayal

  • Strengthening emotional and physical intimacy

  • Premarital or pre-engagement counseling

  • Navigating early parenthood and life transitions

  • Relationship uncertainty, separation, or divorce discernment

Every relationship is unique, and I tailor my approach to fit you and your partner’s specific needs and goals. Whether you are looking to reconnect, improve communication, or better understand one another, couples therapy can provide a supportive space to move forward together.

Please note that I cannot bill insurance for couples therapy visits.
