We are told that becoming a parent is one of the greatest joys in life. While this may be true, becoming a parent is not as simple as what we are often told. Parenthood is a transition that shifts everything in life. There are myriad ways that burgeoning and new parents find themselves experiencing significant changes in their daily life. Therapy is a safe place to lay it out on the table - the joy of parenthood, and the difficulty of a shift so great, it makes you question who you are. .
